Innovative Business Ideas and How to Upgrade Your Signature Offer

In this week's blog of Aligned & Ambitious, I am diving into how you can continue elevating, upgrading, and innovating your signature offer. As entrepreneurs, we often talk about moving onto the next project. As I scale in my business, I find myself now thinking more about how to bring my current offers to the next level in an optimized way.

But before we dive on in, let me introduce myself. My name is Taylor Slango and I’m the host of Aligned & Ambitious Radio and a business coach who helps women make major bank through their online businesses.

So if you’re an ambitious millennial, wanting to get more out of life and learn how to combat those who doubt you along the way, stick around. This blog post is for you!

And today, I will be sharing how you can upgrade and innovate your signature offer.

Innovative Business Ideas

Innovative Business Ideas, Point #1: Sometimes we get swept up in the growth and ambition that we lose sight of what we really want, who we are, and what’s important.

Think about your core offer or that signature program. Envision that offer, and ask yourself if you’ve run it multiple times. I often see my clients creating these amazing programs with all this value, they launch it, and then they move onto something else. I have done this myself, I always seem to be doing something new and creating something new. Now I’m realizing in my business I want to change things up with that. Running your program a couple of times is critical. Especially if it’s a topic or program close to your heart, run it again. Don’t just put it back on the shelf to collect dust. Wherever you put energy into your offer should stay top of mind.

You want to ensure your offer doesn’t disappear. If you want that signature offer to be the go-to and the best thing, it has to be known among your audience. A lot of times people come to me and they know exactly what Five Figure Flow is because I talk about it all the time alongside social proof. As you continue sharing that program, you build brand familiarity. When you think of my brand, for example, you think of launching.

Innovative Business Ideas, Point #2: Play around and try new things with your offer.

I can’t tell you how many times I see people take their program and rinse and repeat it. There’s nothing wrong with that unless things change, in that case, the way you run your offer will be different. Be flexible enough to change the structure and play around with the offer. The best way to do that is to pay attention to the group, especially if it’s a group program being run live. When I run live programs, I try to get as much feedback as possible from how they liked the calls, the length of calls, and what they would suggest adding to the program.

By getting detailed feedback from your group you will recognize and realize so many things. Onboarding and offboarding are both profound parts of the client experience, and when you are offboarding, always make sure you are receiving feedback on your offer. This will tell you how to test and play with it. For example, with my first round of Five Figure Flow, we had a Facebook Group. It was fine and people liked the interactions, with that feedback I wondered how to make Five Figure Flow more hands-on. That evolved into a group program, instead of a Facebook group, we moved to Slack. That round was such a hit and it was a learning experience. As you collect different pieces of information you start forward-thinking.

After this, I was offering a group program with zoom coaching calls rather than Facebook lives. When I had the last round, I had an epiphany about how I only launched once a year. I realized I love launching and love this program. I had a disconnect as to why I was only launching once a year, I knew this was the signature offer. I knew it had to come back and be very present in my business, I was just unsure what it would look like. In the last two years, the program has changed forms. It's changing forms again and coming back right now!

Innovative Business Ideas, Point #3: Strategies are always changing and I’m always testing new things.

With Five Figure Flow, I want to walk you through some upgrades so you can get a better idea as to what I mean when it comes to being innovative with your current offer. As for feedback, we realized launching isn’t one size fits all. The third round of feedback was very helpful because people who were new or doing an accelerated launch voiced that they wanted a path for that. If they already launched before and don’t need the basic beginner stuff, they wanted an option to skip that. I realized I already have that, I have been talking about the 3 different launch personalities for years. Every pathway is either the Launch learner, lover, or virgin.

Now in this relaunch, we have pathways implemented. Each pathway has different videos, one of them is the Launch virgin mindset. The mindset and what people work through when they first start their business is completely different than someone reaching their 6 figure launch. When I talk about launching in any other capacity, we’re all just curious. I ask myself why I'm so passionate about marketing, sales, and launching. It's because I’m curious. Every time I see good marketing or branding, I wonder what the thought process was behind it and all the details to it. We’re going into the Five Figure Flow launch in a couple of weeks. I have a meeting with my ads manager to review the budget, finalize tripwire, and get everything in place.

We are streaming that meeting live inside the membership, so you can be a fly on the wall while we are launch planning. You will truly be able to understand the why and see the thought process live in action, take it, and apply it to your own launches. That's a feature called Live Launch with Taylor, my focus was on how to make this the best yet, and launches are ongoing. When it comes to upgrading your signature offer, it has to start with running it again and again to get feedback. Through action comes clarity.

Innovative Business Ideas and How to Upgrade Your Signature Offer: Main Takeaways

It has been two years in the making for me switching up my offer, adding things, taking things away, and asking for feedback. Don’t feel like because you launched an offer it has to stay that way, if it has to evolve, let it evolve. Let your offer provide a different client experience. You have to be in a state of constantly asking yourself questions whether the offer is working or if you could make it better.
